The Mandela Rhodes Foundation depends on donations from individuals and organizations to fund its programmes. Currently the Foundation's main benefactor is the Rhodes Trust.
Your donation, for education and leadership development programs offered by the Mandela Rhodes Foundation, will help the Foundation achieve its vision for the flagship Mandela Rhodes Scholarship Programme.
The Mandela Rhodes Foundation is registered as a Trust (Trust no.: IT5164/2003), as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO no.: 930004744) and as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO no.: 038-181-NPO).
The Foundation is therefore in a position to issue tax certificates for donations made in compliance with the South African Income Tax Law.

Donation for Education
The Scholarships Programme is the Foundation's signature programme and is financed through an endowment. Our vision for the Scholarships programme is to have 100 Scholars in residence by the year 2012. In order for us to achieve this, a major fund raising campaign is been launched to raise the necessary donation.
Over and above this major task of raising the endowment fund, the Foundation has to raise funds to finance its other programmes.
The Foundation values donations from like minded individuals and organisations and would like to develop a close relationship with them. It is for this reasons that we ask all those who would like to make a donation in excess of R10 000 (US$1 500 / GPB 1 000) to complete the attached application form. We assure our donors of total confidentiality. We therefore would appreciate it if ALL donations made to the Foundation are also treated with total confidentiality i.e. no publicity should be made without a written approval of the CEO.

Complete the donor application form. You may also fax it to the attention of General Manger at +27 (0) 21 424 9617
The management committee will screen each application and inform you of the outcome.
If the application is approved a pledge form, together with details of how to process your payment will be forwarded to you.
