Chelsea Haith is a researcher and writer, currently working in brand management and insights research at Kantar, a global consulting and research agency. She completed a sociology Honours in Gender and Transformation at the University of Cape Town during her Mandela Rhodes year in 2017 while working in publishing. She then moved to the UK where she completed a Masters at the University of York in the Centre for Modern Studies, and thereafter read for a DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford. Her research explores how narrative shapes political (in)action in three areas: homelessness, the refugee crisis, and reproductive rights. While at Oxford she founded the Futures Thinking research network, founded and hosted the Narrative Futures podcast, and co-led on an AI and Creativity project titled Sound of Contagion (soundofcontagion.com).
