Laura is an economist at Ilifa Labantwana, a national non-profit focused on creating an enabling environment for all children to have access to quality early childhood development (ECD) services in South Africa. Her work focuses on designing, testing and supporting government to implement the systems and financing required to achieve this vision. Before joining Ilifa in 2018, Laura spent four years at a multinational management consulting company, where she supported the establishment of a practice focused on initiatives in the Human and Social Services sector. In her spare time, Laura enjoys horse riding, which has been her lifelong pastime.
