South Africa & University of Cape Town, 2017
I am currently based in the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town, where my research is broadly focussed on post-schooling education in South Africa. I hold an MSc in Economics and Public Policy from the University of York (cum laude) and an MA (cum laude) in African Languages from the University of Cape Town.
I aim to promote socioeconomic development in South Africa, particularly by contributing to inclusive education, and advancing rigorous scholarship in this regard. My interests extend to the role of language in education, as well early childhood education & development.
