Chido is the co-founder of the Zimbabwe Economic Youth Foundation (ZEYF), a non-profit organisation that is committed to empowering the youth, aged 18-35, and including them in the economic development of Zimbabwe which was an idea that she developed during her time as a 2018 Mandela Rhodes Scholar. ZEYF has since hosted a youth conference on Special Economic Zones in Harare, written development related papers and attended other youth forums to learn and build on the work underway in Zimbabwe. More information on this initiative can be found on its respective social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter). Chido is an aspiring economist and businesswoman. In addition to her work in the non-profit sector, she is a strategic consultant for youth start-ups and family-owned entities – both of which directly address her lived experience with personal endeavours. She enjoys building on good business & project ideas, researching, networking and learning new skills.
