I am a dedicated Philomath who possesses a keen interest in the following sectors: education, financial services as well as research and development. I have a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Statistic as well as an Honours degree in Economics, both from the University of Cape Town. I am currently finishing my dissertation for my Master's Degree in Applied Economics (long-distance). I am also a holder of the Beit Trust Scholarship (2019-2020) and The Mandela Rhodes Scholarship (2018). My work experience includes my role as a data quality assistant on the first of it's kind Land Restitution Evaluation Study. In this role, I demonstrated my aptitude in data analysis and proficiency in excel and Stata. Furthermore, I have over three years of work experience as a tutor, wherein I also became a head tutor. In these roles, I exercised my leadership skills and became more conversant with the field of economics. Beyond the research and tutoring world, I have a deep love for financial literacy and personal finance which I am committed to sharing with others through my social media pages. In this capacity, I aim to help shape a generation of financially literate Africans who are active investors in their home countries.
