Famous Sosah is a food scientist, researcher, and entrepreneur committed to improving food security and nutrition in Africa. He holds First Class Honours in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana and an Honours degree in Food Science from the University of Pretoria, receiving multiple academic awards for excellence.

As Co-Founder of Bequest Nourishers Company Limited, he develops fortified fermented corn dough beverages and nutrient-enhanced snacks, including plantain-based products enriched with Bambara groundnut and orange-fleshed sweet potato flour, translating research into health-promoting traditional foods. A published researcher, he has authored peer-reviewed articles on food safety, microbial foodborne outbreaks, and pathogen persistence in Africa.

Famous also invests in community development as Deputy Leader of his church’s Young Adult Ministry and founder of The Famous Tutorial Group, mentoring Food Science students. He contributes to agricultural sustainability through the Africa Youth Network for Agricultural Technology.

Through the Mandela Rhodes Foundation, he aims to scale research-driven solutions that make African diets safer, more nutritious, and locally empowering. In his free time, he enjoys mountain climbing and swimming.
