Yalenga is a marketing and communications professional driven by a commitment to digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town, graduating magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Helderberg College, where she graduated summa cum laude.

She has led strategic marketing and communications projects across multiple sectors, advancing data informed campaigns and stakeholder engagement. In 2023, she presented Malawi’s digital talent cultivation programs to the President of Malawi and senior officials in Shenzhen, a moment that strengthened her dedication to youth development in Africa.

A member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, she received two scholarships in 2022 for academic excellence, leadership, and community service. She is also a Young African Leaders Initiative alumna from the Business and Entrepreneurship track.

Yalenga champions gender equality and youth leadership, serving as Head of Public Relations for a Malawian organisation that promotes girls’ education. As a Mandela Rhodes Scholar, she aims to deepen her expertise in digital marketing to support sustainable and inclusive growth across Africa.
