Yalenga is a marketing and communications professional driven by a commitment to digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town, graduating magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Helderberg College, where she graduated summa cum laude.

She has led strategic marketing and communications projects across multiple sectors, advancing data-informed campaigns and stakeholder engagement. In 2023, she presented Malawi’s digital talent cultivation programs to the President of Malawi and senior officials in Shenzhen, a moment that strengthened her dedication to youth development in Africa.

A member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, she received two scholarships in 2022 for academic excellence, leadership, and community service. She is also a Young African Leaders Initiative alumna from the Business and Entrepreneurship track.

Yalenga champions gender equality and youth leadership, serving as Head of Public Relations for a Malawian organisation that promotes girls’ education. As a Mandela Rhodes Scholar, she aims to deepen her expertise in digital marketing to support sustainable and inclusive growth across Africa.
