Chisaya Kanyama is a Civil Engineering grandaunt from the University of Cape Town. He completed his secondary education at Lwengu School in Zambia, after which he did his A Levels at the University of Zambia. He then enrolled for economics classes at Northern Virginia Community College while awaiting the commencement of his Engineering studies in Cape Town. Chisaya is a firm believer in interdisciplinary learning as an efficient way to making effective members of society. It is this principle that prompted him to formally study Civil Engineering while self-learning economic theory to better understand the world around. He is currently enrolled for a Master of Commerce in Risk Management of Financial Markets at the University of Cape Town. Aside from his academics, Chisaya enjoys reading and playing sports, particularly football. He was also an avid athlete, attaining silverware in national athletics competitions in Zambia.
