Elizabeth Dare

Malawi & Stellenbosch University, 2026

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Crop Protection from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. She is passionate about sustainable agriculture and plant health, with a focus on using innovative, eco-friendly solutions to tackle pest and disease challenges in crop production.

She has led several community-driven initiatives and training programs on beekeeping and Good Agronomic Practices (GAPs) for women and youth in Northern Nigeria, demonstrating her commitment to empowering rural communities and promoting inclusive agricultural growth. Her goal is to help smallholder farmers improve crop productivity and contribute to food security in Nigeria.

Elizabeth is the Co-founder of Agriversity, an organization committed to bridging the knowledge gap in agriculture by providing internship opportunities for agricultural students to gain hands-on experience during their farm practical year.

She served as an Agronomist Team Lead, managing major crop production and processing projects across the country.
